Getting Adobe Certified: Part Deux!
Well, going through my search engine stats with Analytics Reporting Suite (if you haven't checked this little app out, it's freakin' sweet!) I've noticed a few hits on a post I published sometime back about getting Adobe certified in Coldfusion. This is still a high priority of mine partly because it would look nice to add to my resume but mostly because I just love me some Adobe, what can I say?
The original post was mostly a question: did anyone out there have any experience with the exam, and if so, could they offer some pointers to someone aspiring to get certified. It was a question that mostly fell upon deaf ears at the time as I was not being aggregated and my blog was more or less dead.
On the bright side, I have found out some more information about practice tests to get you ready to take the real exam. Dan Wilson recommends using the CFMX Exam Buster from CentraSoft, which can be found here: http://www.centrasoft.com/cfmxexambusterorderinfo.cfm. It costs $39.95, but if it helps you get your certification that price will more than offset itself in the long run.
Anyone else know of any prep tests out there?

Check out Ben Forta's practice exam, it's cfmx7 but close enough to get a gauge on things.

I have actually taken the test and use the Centrasoft program "CFMX Exam Buster". I really like the exam buster and after speaking to the guy that wrote the exam he mentioned the exam buster as your best bet.
I didn't pass the first time as you'll hear from most people but it definitely is worth taking.
That CF exam prep book by Ben forta does have some errors as I have gone thru that book about half way before hearing about CFbuster. No disrespect to Ben but if you go thru the book at the book store and try a few of the practice exams you'll see what I mean.
