I Forgot My Line...

Okay, I suppose it happens to the best of us every now, but it happens to me quite a bit. I noticed a bit of a snag with the way WhosOnCFC was handling user authentication.

I will get the code on RIAForge updated this afternoon, but in the mean time, at around line 548 right after if(updateFlag eq 0) in the WhosOnPageTracker() function add this line:

retUser="Guest";

This will really only apply to you if you are using WhosOnCFC to handle user authentication on your web sites, otherwise it should not affect you at all.

On another note, I plan on revising my previous post about using WhosOnCFC with secured web sites using the newest version and the CFLogin tag as the security provider. I am not a huge fan of CFLogin, but I know quite a few folks out there use it so it will be a good starting point.
